Answers I Need To Find Your silence tells me nothing It had made no sense I wonder did you ever love me Or was it just pretense Your silence was unexplained What happened to you You would have been in touch If your words were true Your silence I never expected I wonder why obviously Promises you would not break If you did truly love me Your silence left me to ponder Thoughts on my mind Was it love or was it pretense Answers I need to find Your silence from so far away Here the horizon I view Although we are oceans apart I shall always love you Hope ©2008 |

Dear Hope, you gift us with such elegance ... in words and picture!! I understand your need to know, but I would say do not doubt what was once expressed and felt. Maybe it is just a sign of a certain immaturity in coping with problems in a relationship. Dear Hope, you are such a beautiful woman with such a generous heart, may you heal quickly and live in the now with all the new opportunities to share and receive love. You write so beautifully! Love and hugs. Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; |

Closure can sometimes be more elusive than the love itself. Some very honest and warranted questions you have posed here. I very much enjoyed reading this and the format was appreciated as well. |

You have portrayed my biggest fear in this poem, and every verse has its own edge of what pain not knowing causes.....it was so very well written. |
