thanks to all those who reply to my poems for their warm comments and advice. i really appreciate it.
Past and Present

past, is gone
present, is passing by
we don't actually notice
how fast it passes

we notice in our birthday
or any special date to us
we notice in christmas
and of course in new year's day

but past isn't really gone
past is part of our present
and if we don't pay attention
we will have a blank past
and a completely senseless present

Each of us has private past
Either be sad or happy but as for me
the past is the present and the present is the past and is a part of us too

Dear Denis, this is quite clever. Everything is packed in the NOW, it is amazing actually.
Oh, and I confirm that we seem to hurry across life as if we had to win some race ... to find some moments for contemplation is important.
