We often want to be someone else And walk in another's shoes, Because our life ain't so hot-- And is givin' us the blues! The grass seems often greener The other side of the fence, But often it is put-on A big facade and pretense. Don't judge a book by cover It's proof lies all inside, The glamor may sell the book But the truth is there hid inside. I heard a saying once And a lot of sense it is makin', It said "JUST BE YOURSELF-- 'CAUSE EVERYONE ELSE IS TAKEN!" No one can be a better you You've cornered the market there, So just try to be Your Best-- Then you'll find Joy to spare! |
