I see her every day, in her own little world, self deluded by dreams, DAYDREAMS. Forever chasing rainbows is she, thats right, forever chasing rainbows, for that pot of gold. Its like she can't see the wood, for the trees. "Get on with your life" was the advice i offered in friendship, REALITY in full display, as plain as the end of her NOSE. But she just can't see the wood, for the trees. Me ? Im walking, one leg infront of the other. i used to chase that rainbow too. But you see, my eyes are wide open now, and IM going somewhere, while SHE, is FOREVER chasing rainbows, For That Pot Of Gold. Yo aZMERE bOHEMIAN nOMAD, Being old, and having old eyes, I find this difficult to read. Try the standard Navy Blue font that comes with the site. Bobby |

I think there's a little more to this than I am perceiving. I'll have to come back to it again. ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· |

I can certainly think of some people I could show this to...but the thing is they wouldn't see themselves in it...great write and sooo true! |

Daydreaming is wonderful, but obviously it should not detach us so totally from reality, that we lose the ability to live the NOW fully, setting some goals and working in the direction of their accomplishment. There are many who can't and don't want to fit into the box of social expectations. Their minds dance in ethereal spheres. When life is tough, dreams can be healing, but we should never lose the possibility to keep our feet on the ground (... and I am the one who keeps her feet firmly in the air!). Beautifully written. Love, Margherita |

To be perfectly honest, I do believe I know what you are saying, but I, like "She", love to chase after rainbows! For me, being too grounded can be a very sobering experience! ~ and besides, I have found a pot of gold or two up there! lol EA |
