It was a very good life before the fall into this land of make-believe where everything seems as it should be but never can be without love. And as the heart mourns I still am awed at the immensity of it all and how it stretches year in year out to accommodate all I can feel. So this rubber band of fantasy land believes it will power the soul to shoot into star studded bliss but the news isn’t good rubber bands snap and we never get off the ground. And the moral of the story is, don’t put your faith in a rubber band because love is the power that shoots the soul … but is it here, can it be found, or is it a volcano that only erupts when we’ve been stretched enough?
