I think I'll just put that thought in the closet and close the door. I'm tired of looking at it, just sitting there, In the middle of the floor where I stumble over it every now and then. When I'm ready, maybe I'll take it out again... and maybe I won't. Who's to say? I might just wait until I clean the closets and give it away. Ida Werrett |

Sometimes we have to worry thoughts like a cracked nail. It's like we can't leave it alone until it is destroyed. I like this poem, Ida. A |

Ida, Some thoughts can be thrown away, and should be. You can do that. Bobby |

Dear Ida, we all have thoughts that we put in the closet and a lot of them should stay there forever, Great poem. love Lindsay |

I like this very much. I do that too. Sometimes we can't think rationally about a certain thought at the time for a number of variable reasons. It is good to keep it (at bay) until we can think about it rationally and decide whether to throw it out or do something about it, and if so what. - Owl |

... ohh, I hear the knocking from inside the closet, dear Ida, certain thoughts are difficult to be ignored, but I love the idea in this wonderfully written poem! We can indeed learn to ignore or deal definitely with certain thoughts. Enjoyed your take on it much! Love, Margherita |

Ida, I could never tire of reading your thoughts ~ whether they be pleasant ones or not. I love the way you think ~ and write!!! ~ Practical, earthy, wise, real, vividly descriptive ~ and always grabbing my attention! Love you! I do! Linda |

thoughts are creepy creatures. they tend to sneak right back in. but the thought that gave rise to these lines of yours is as disconcerting as it is familiar. thank you for the beautiful write. |
