Grey Grey the day is asleep sun's playing hide and seek the clouds they cut deep Grey all colorless and plain hope is on the wane when abnormal is sane Say a bright word to make it all okay a rainbow I hear when you call my name I'm never going to be the same Today the scents grow cold arms long to hold someone needs to be told to Stay and take comfort in this an imagined glance of bliss a heart can't beat in a closed fist Say there will be an ending to this grey a dark November bending into May golden light to awaken this weary day and make me feel okay Grey the night cuts deep moon's a bright sickle that reaps all the happy dreams I keep Grey all odorless and dull wounded from the fall I'll never be rid of it all Grey but just say that it'll be okay even if it's a lie still I will try remembering my name never be the same "Now if I seem to be afraid to live the life that I have made in song, well it's just that I've been losing for so long" -Jackson Browne 'These Days' |

Say a bright word to make it all okay Beautifully romantic! Sometimes indeed it is a question of one bright word ... Love, Margherita |

Good write, why is it that gray is always such a good choice for when the weather is just that? |
