By 1:20 am you would think My little body would be longing for sleep But I am too cold On the inside My soul Longs to be held By another soul One that loves ME And all which that entails Knowing sincere reciprocation Liking me for my qualities, however few Loving me for my defects, however numerous But I can only imagine warmth This cold is ever present And I can only hope that venting To more cold and more loneliness Will help me sleep By 1:30 am you would think My little body would be longing for sleep But I am too busy Loving that other soul Yet unbeknownst to me For all he is and isn’t |
