Why try to bomb Surat, why try to bomb the diamond city. Why try to bomb Varachcha neighborhood, where so many children, with their nimble hands, and sharp eyes, sit at grinding wheels, cutting diamonds for the world. I’m sorry. There is no excuse for it. It’s unspeakable to try to take the lives of innocent, hard working children, all to hurt the diamond trade. Thank God the terrorists did not succeed. Bobby [This message has been edited by Robert E. It is a sad but truthful tale that you write about here Bobby. It just seems unreal that these things still go on in this twenty first century. Lindsay |

Thanks LindsayP, Many things in this world seem unreal. When I read about what the terrorist tried to do, I had to hold my head. It's absolutly insane. Surat is a very densly populated city. Thousands of people could have been killed, including the poor little kids in the diamond trade. Bobby |
