Turn Back Time Finding that place inside that can uncripple emotions, that can unstain mind pictures that are now colored in dark swatches of never knowing. Listening to the now heartens the need for a yesterday's simplicity where everyday knowing was always at hand and quiet mornings were a sign of contentment. Sifting through memories, dogeared corners bent from loving, boxed in darkness always waiting to bring forward smiles of when and tears that can turn back time. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

quote: Sometimes a peek into memories brings such intense emotions. This is a very touching write. Love and hugs. Margherita |

M - I think memories deserve our attention being, as they are, the basis of our experiences. Enjoyed your words! Helen |

A fine ending, M. Those would be powerful but welcome tears. |

"Listening to the now heartens the need for a yesterday's simplicity..." [well, that about 'sums it up' for me in this failing society!] I am especially fond of: "Sifting through memories, dogeared corners bent from loving, boxed in darkness always waiting to bring forward smiles of when and tears that can turn back time." much applause for this emotive 'penning'! |

An inspiring poem with perfection of metaphor and thoughts to live for. Words to take heart by, and I do. I am particularly fond of - 'Sifting through memories, dogeared corners bent from loving,' A wonderful piece! Somehow 'wonderful' seems inadequate. Lynda |
