Where will your rays of moonlight hide, When shadows roam the dark? Will you befriend my murky heart, Or will you fade away? For loneliness comes, knocking at my door, I see him through the peephole. I see him walk on down the road, As I pretend there’s no one home. Solitude waits in his flowing cape, Waiting for me to see; That the light at the end of the road, Is of the cigarette between his lips. * |
