BROOKS AND KNIGHTS The babbling brooks speak languages unknown As they gait joyfully in beds of clay From mountains' heights to valleys.Mid their play, They follow their "course" singing hymns they own. The voices I hear never sing alone, Resounding far from foreign founts. They pray In words unknown translating me some way To yonder's treasured transcendental zone! Today's arms of flesh hold the future tight And that far future's nigh in earthenwear, A guest from heaven this beloved knight! From precious depths spring babblings everywhere: "Angelic tongues?"Yet, we know aright They speak of love and heaven's tender care! Yo BROTHER JOHN, This is well on it's way to becoming a very good sonnet. We don't see many real sonnets here. Keep up the good work. Bobby |
