Why continue my normal life of school When this world is so cruel Soon everyone will know what I’m concealing This has got to be the weirdest feeling My mood changes all the time It changes so fast it should be a crime My head hurts from all this stress I’m not getting anywhere theres no progress Looks like this choice is up to me Drop out and run from it all, don’t you agree? Or stay in school and learn My choice is really none of your concern To the doctors I will go Sit there & tell him what I want when inside I’m really yellin no So I guess its time to set it all up and come clean But my decision is still in between I guess it doesn’t really matter anymore I’ll never be like I was before Come on not lets be realistic Im just gonna end up like another statistic |

The one thing that makes life worthy besides LOVE, is LEARNING. So don't you dare to stop doing that! It is a blessing, even if you fear to end up just as another statistic. What's wrong with that? Learning is a life long process ... A good poem, that shows your reasoning and insight well. Love, Margherita |

Yes. Very well reasoned. Great writing here. And again now, I see portrayed a life issue of great importance... unplanned pregnancy and abortion. Naturally one would hope this isn't your reality you are writing about, dear poet, but if it is, I would urge anyone not to make such a decision alone. I've spoken to many women who have chosen termination, and all alike regret it everyday, all moral implications aside. But even if it's not, I'm glad to see your poetry here. I love being challenged to think on, review, and evaluate real issues. ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· |
