The corner of my eye does lie for there I see a hidden beast, in shadows where one's fancy flies they are the most, one is the least. We dwell within the lighted world and give our dreams up to the night, they dwell within those very dreams and cover the full range of sight. Look deep into the well my friend for there within its depths does lie the answer one cannot pretend to serve as any alibi. A soul must cleanse itself at times if only through some simple rhymes. |

As truth we cannot see but this: the puzzles of the darting eye, Just as Judas placed his lips upon the face of Christ, as spy... The temple's possibilities, are sacred only unto self: The beast is cautionary plea we recognize ourselves as Hell. Knowing thirty coins were tossed (I doubt it even bought the rope) much less rectified the cost for losses of the Judast hope. A soul must cleanse itself all times. A daily death as such? "Sublime..." * * * No kiss tonight. For reasons obvious. But a hug will do, yes? (say yes) I'll blow kisses...*chuckle* and I apologize for the interruption-- you inspire me. |

Very captivating. In my opinion the soul is always clean, the only "unclean elements" reside in the mind. But your reasoning works perfectly well in that case too ... Love, Margherita |

Look deep into the well my friend for there within its depths does lie the answer one cannot pretend to serve as any alibi. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Oh boy, I can so identify with that verse. I thoroughly enjoyed your brutal honesty. There does come a time when we simply must slay our dragons. (as much as I dislike the idea) Neat poem Doc, and lots of good thoughts to ponder. |
