I wake-up in the morning, and smell bacon and eggs frying. I have a keen sense of smell for such things. Then I realize the odor’s coming through the window from next door. As usual, there’s no food for me this morning. Bobby |

Thanks XGarapanX, It would be nice if it worked out that way. However, Angelo has had hungry times too. Bobby |

Come on over to my house, Bobby - you have a standing invitation for bacon and egg breakfasts. Liked this. A |

grinnin' at Ida. I was about to tell him he forgot the biscuits, grits, and coffee. But you can't really smell grits--just the...absence of them! (I have to work to keep this figure yanno... ) Oh. That reminded me. Don't forget the preserves. (Country gal, BJ! But I raised Hell in the city...) |

I know that sort of feeling, Bobby, but I have learnt to live with it - even ignoring it with ease, and even pride - over the years, but I must admit that my extraordinary health and energy makes it a lot easier. Also, at least I currently have 2 to 4 slices of bread a day, and a proper meal at my son's house on Sunday nights. Wishing you an invitation to a good hot meal today, Bobby, one that you can accept - as lovely and kind as Alison's invitation is, Alaska is a little far to go for breakfast! - Owl |

Hunger is the worst feeling to experience ... and there are millions of hungry children in this world of ours and they continue to die ... while so many others (me included) struggle to keep their weight down, because they have too much to eat ... Thank you, dear Bobby, your words are very efficient. I'm sorry you had to experience this pain in your past, it affects more than we can imagine! And I am so sorry to hear Diana does not eat properly either now ... Love, Margherita |

Thanks dear OwlSA, For your good wishes. I'll have a nice cold meal today. There a lovely Philadelphia Hoagie place near here. The name “Hoagie” originated in the Hog Island neighborhood of Philadelphia, where it was invented. I'll go there after Church. It's a regular Sunday ritual. Love Bobby |

Thanks dear Margherita, You are correct. Hunger is a terrible experience. The pain in the stomach and the head aches are almost unbearable. It can drive you to do strange things. Bobby |
