Julroyon Lady of the Moonlight My peasant Princess With your unkempt hair- Still ravishing After all these hard years. Eyes smiling with joy, Humble, Yet proud, Content to help me To work the soil Though it hardens Your once soft hands, But not your heart. Even when those hands Carried our son To his early rest Still, your face beamed And you sang, Just as your image Sings to me Now. What would I do Without you, My forever undiminished Julroyon? You are the reason I still revere The night. This Poem Was Based On This Image By Galen Schlich http://www.galenschlich.com © Julroyon.jpg 2008 ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· |

Garapan, this is a very nice 'word portrait' from a photo inspiration. |

I truly believed you could have loved her. Your light shines through this poem, even as Emerson said it would. Lynda |

Garapan that is a very tender, poignant poem, a little sad but so well written. Thanks for sharing. Lindsay |

Possibly my favourite of all your poems that I have read, Brett. I like the way you climb into the head of another - keep doing so, so that you can continue to develop it to the benefit of all around you. - Owl |

Also, my favourite photo of all those you have written on. She creates a Mona Lisa mood. - Owl |
