A lament from out the heart of one knows to fall like silent dew upon life’s idle murmurings and turn the tables, chairs, and rugs upside down and topsy-turvy simply for the fun of it. “Hear me, hear me!” and I most times do but deaf ears will strut and preen again with the change of seasons and become a fashion statement no one can live without. I call them into being sooner than the time decreed for the beat of heart’s lament irritates beyond belief when mind would play a different tune and move the body so, just so, to the rhythm of these times. But designers of the world think it’s cool for ears to hear and sketch and manufacture what for years has been in vogue and this disregard for what the people need not deserving of applause or undying admiration. Stuck then and forced to be in sync with heart’s lament I can only shrug my shoulders at topsy-turvy furniture and join in the fun of it! Helen / 27 December 2008 |

I think it's good that you have fun with it. Love the topsy-turvy expression, it's fun in itself. Your creativity unfolds in many ways, dear Helen! Lovely piece, full of energy to change. Love and hugs. Margherita |

Styles come and go, what 'mom' liked in the 50's I've rejected completely, only to see it being worn or used in homes today as 'retro' and cool. Enjoyed.(Hope I understood it correctly.) |
