I Say Goodbye |

On this crystal Christmas Eve, snow begins falling on my sleeve. Trees glistening, bowing toward ground, bunny hops by without a sound. Wind blowing, gathering drifts, here come plows beginning their shifts. Virgin footprints laced in snow, greets shivering, concrete below. Bench in honor of my rest, stood test of time for me the best. As this blanket of snow falls, I say goodbye, as my heart stalls. |

Thank you all for the welcomes, and Merry Christmas. I thought with this poem even the homeless need remembering during the holidays, and sometimes extreme situations do happen, and it is kind of sad. |
