Tonight again For the last time Before Vietnam A young Marine Will stand alone In falling snow At Quantico The flakes Blue white On his long green coat Gazing at glowing Christmas lights So as to remember All the years From then ‘til now Will disappear Don’t look for the man You think you know He’ll be back later . |
