Across the lake where trees meet the sky Sunrise comes to fill my waking eyes. In the old pine tree by the creaking dock songbirds chime their feathered clocks Into this moment tranquil filled a murmmured whisper breaks the still. I turn and look at your quivering face as your dream comrades fade away Your eyes open to my connection your smile so full of recognition. Then, right then, where eternities meet your sunlit emeralds keep beckoning me to open the passage through heart and mind And slide into your arms one more time.. So I do and it's special again. IF YOU HAVE TO JUDGE SOMEONE DO IT ON THE SIDE OF MERCY AND LET TIME SEASON THE RESULTS. [This message has been edited by ethome (12-22-2008 09:59 PM).] |
