     Winter Memories

In the cold-bracing shock
of Winter moonrise
(on this long-spreading
  December night)
over stark white mountains
and broad barren forests,
fleeting memories of faded
love and forlorn dreams
dance with distant shadows
and wandering apparitions
in infinite deep-time déjà vu.

Deja vu...life seems to be filled with
unexplainned thoughts. Some feel them more than others, I think. Your poetry always awakens those feelings.

Hi Bruce, you're right, there is always dejé vu in seasons, I think perhaps because they are cyclical, Was it the idea of the poem...enjoyed it.
