When one is stricken, as too often is such this sorrow, why is it not them to gather marigolds to lace across the ivory shrine to spread upon the lifeless body of one of their own of a missing mother's winged child so in turn, as I rummage roadside forests to lay my wreath of love upon him, these flighted hearts of theirs, become the bird in mine [This message has been edited by inkedgoddess (12-13-2008 02:53 PM).] |
