What used to be me, can no longer possess what I see as I lay juxtaposed to my life as a mirror I desperately search for what I should be while wishing to throw stones at my reflection I fear I may look back, without remorse nor affection behind this wall that will never crack How I long to break through this divide leave my image in my rejection my prayers are only for a chance to decide All but my eyes are blind while staring through this tainted glass I wish to choose to live and to know to think and to ponder of places beyond where only my eyes may wander to feel the flow and float upon fate where weightless consequences may weave but never corrupt nor confuse where the face in the mirror can leave and find a way to bruise what if my choice were to choose, possibly accept that I am just a copy and all of your beautiful hues, the yellow, red and the blue fact is that when you smile at me... I'll only smile back at you.... the mocking ever present echo, placed here to remind me I'm eternal inside this window and it is you who are free to go |

Welcome to Pip! I really liked this. "I desperately search for what I should be while wishing to throw stones at my reflection I fear I may look back, without remorse nor affection" |

Welcome. An interesting concept, seeing life from the perspective of the mirror image as opposed to the tangible breathing 3D reality. I look forward to reading more from you. |
