Into the World (Feelings) "At two months much of the construction work is done. All the fetus' major organs are in place, ready to grow."...page 74 What must a baby living inside the womb be thinking, a baby awaiting their moment to be born? Their very first time to be held within their mothers arms, to suckle warm milk from their mothers breast, to feel the magnificence of a mothers sweet caress. Surely they can hear their mothers voice while still residing within the womb. Surely they can anticipate that something wonderful will be happening soon. "At eight months, the rapidly growing baby gets ready for its grand entrance into the world, putting on weight, packing away nutrients and stocking up on disease-preventing immune cells piped from Mom through the umbilical cord."...page 69. Quotations are from an article written by J. Madeleine Nash in a TIME Special Report of November 11, 2002 on pages 68 to 78...pictures that are included in the article were taken from the book "From Conception to Birth:A Life Unfolds (Doubleday), by photographer Alexander Tsiaras and writer Barry Werth."
