Just like that old movie "The postman Always Rings Twice." Today, the law of karma has finally thrown the dice. For a murderer, most foul, has laughed in the face of justice for as long as providence will allow. His piper has played a sweet tune. Time to pay the piper now. Many may not know of the prison system in Nevada, but they are all in the bleakest of desserts, in the middle of nowhere. It gets up to 115* in the summers and cold in the winters. Nothing like So Cal or Florida. It's Karma alright, What goes around, comes around, or how about this one, He who does the devils work, will pay in Hell. Welcome to the Nevada prison and retirement home. |

I know about the Nevada prison system. There's a prison up on a hill behind one of the casinos on the way into Vegas that gave me the chills every time we passed it. Ida |

His escaping that murder charge was simply a quintessential example of the real 'operative principle' behind the contemporary criminal (IN)justice system: "Guilty until proven rich!" ... [He may yet escape this latest circumstance via protracted appeal(s), of course] fine write!! |

Yo dear Ida, I don't like to see anyone go to prison. I'm still waiting for that day when a pill is invented that will turn a bad person good. One of my beloved cousins went to prison, and was infected with Hepatitis āCā. He died from it a short time after his release. Bobby |

Ah, chuckling here at Ms Serenity's reply. I feel sorry for the children, for all they've suffered. |

I have not followed much this case, but I see your point, dear Ida, and you always succeed in bringing across a clever message. Some say that when we die we shall experience everything we have done to others and therefore suffer the pains we may have inflicted. That lesson would be probably more useful when still alive ... so that we could mend. Love, Margherita |
