   Starry Winter Evening

The Winter wind whispers
to wandering shadows
and flickering stars
as a cold-bright moon
  sails by…
through the boundless,
spiraling cosmic canopy
where our finest dreams
turn gently forever…
in grand galactic arabesques,
perfect silence, and peace
through all the unimaginable
depths of time.

Bruce,

It is not often that I feel speechless, this is one of those times.  The beauty of your poem moves me and shares its picture to carry in my mind.  The beauty of your friendship and the gift that you offer me - well, it moves me even more.  Thank you.  Please, come back for more curtain calls because my palms get sore from clapping - take all the encores that life offers you.

I treasure you and I treasure this poem.

Thank you.

With love and hugs,
Alison

Oh...you reminded me of yet another thing I want to see...

"the halo phenomenon"

sigh

If you've seen this, I will hold my lighter up until you come back out with a poem for me!
