“Reflections Against A Pond”

Winter,
Embrace.
Winter,
Take.
Winter,
Describe.
Winter,
Alive.

O Winter day,
Tell me of your wish,
So Cold and Dry,
Please winter night,
Rescue the dream,
A night so clear and so fogged,
The Winter scent,
Liberate me of my thoughts,
O Winter,
Hide yourself from sunrise.,
O winter dreary,
Embrace me..

O winter please,
Transgress me through the blizzards,
O winter day,
Rescue my lonely soul,
Carry me through to times of lore,
O winter Night raise me from the dead,
O, winter frequent,
Guide me to the tranquil,
O winter moon,
Whistle in my ear,
O winter day
Take me away.

O winter spell,
Whisper the secrets,
Share with me all you know,
Winter please,
Enlighten my thoughts,
Stir my soul,
Winter project,
A picture of yourself onto me,
O winter why,
Can I not see your face,
O winter I beg,
Describe.

O winter my love,
With you I feel death inside,
O winter my dream,
With you much can be done,
Winter snow fall to my side,
Snowflakes dancing against  the winds,
O winter I tell you,
Winter frequent,
I am so alive.

So Winter,
Take my soul,
So Winter,
Have my mind,
So winter,
Grab my face,
So winter,
I see you in the glass,
So winter,
I am your face,
So winter,
May I describe,
A winter,
Where  Spring Never Arrives.

"Transgress me through the blizzards"

...and interesting, yet power-soaked, line in an eloquent write

oh, and welcome to PiP

I believe you have captured the essence of winter here...both that of the soul and of the weather.  Welcome!!

Yes, winter is a living, breathing force of life, isn't she.

Thank you for sharing this and welcome to PiP, Ray.
