"Schmetterling" by Pablo Picasso

* * *
I saw you soaring
like an eagle
in wondrous heights.
I called out your name.
In midst of dancing echoes
you touched ground
upon my breast
with the lightness and grace
of a butterfly
and shared my breath.

How lovely, Margherita, but, of course, it's what we've come to expect from our lovely Margherita.

Through the air we breathe, yes we are connected , and that is sometimes salvation and love right there in itself. You write words of wonder

This is such a beautifully written sentiment.
Delicate, powerful, sensual, captivating.

Put this in your "Best of the Best" file.

Love it,   Merry Christmas Margherita.

Maybe it's me but I found in this one, a very passionate kiss and some of the special moments just before that kiss.  Hmmmm .... I will have to go back and read again as my mind might be stuck on something else.  LOL  Enjoyed immensly and especially loved the ties to nature and passion.

Hi Margherita, it is one of you best to my opinion, It is incredibly deep and beautiful, the duality between high and low, the human condition, it tells a lot to me....Great work...I add it to my library.
