Bones is on his usual corner,
fishing for a clients.

A big car drives up,
there’s a pretty lady inside.

She tells Bones to get in,
and sit upfront with her.

Bones thinks it’s a little strange,
he never done a lady before,
but he’s desperate.
He needs bread bad.

The pretty lady drives
around the corner,
and parks the car.

“Here kid, I know
what you’re up to.”

The pretty lady
takes out a “c”-note,
and hands it to bones.

“Here Hon, I scored,
and I’m flushed.

Take this and get off
the street for the night.”

“Yo, thanks pretty lady,
you’re a nice lady too.”

Bobby

compassion has so many faces...not all of them familiar...thought-provoking to say the least

Bobby, may that nice pretty lady be treated as well as she treated Bones.

Bones deserved a break ~ so to speak! lol

A touching scene.

Thanks dear Linda,

Let's hope the pretty lady is treated well.  That's many times a problem for pretty ladies.

Bones and I have always treated ladies well, pretty or not.

Love Bobby

A temporary angel of the Streets.  I am happy that Bones saw this kindness because he has it in him too.

Thanks dear Alison,

Bones was always a very thoughtful boy, he cared about people.  He was always appreciative of even the smallest things anyone did for him.   I’ll write a poem about one Christmas party he was to at the settlement house that illustrates that.

Love Bobby
