Dark sky is painted with the colors of turned off stars Clouds move around in the sky- constantly changing Hiding flickers of light- seeming smaller than a fingerprint Breeze wanders aimlessly reaching out to treetops Picking up a leaf for flight or dropping it back down Jam-packed with directions- not knowing where to go Silver crescent shines alone in a darkened sky Self conscious of her flaws- part of her hides away Only aware of how striking the other lights are Soft gentle air- whispers of friendship and loyalty Betray the tough exterior threatening to crack From far away no one can see anything wrong- no tears Moody and pmsing the moon is seen different each night Switching from confident and full to a sliver of her former self Rotating visions so no one can sense a pattern and figure her out More lights shine tonight portraying the smiles- meaningful gifts For a second everything crashes to a standstill- staying true to self Dust settles to the ground- grey sketched clouds breathe for a moment |

You have some nice imagery here. What was this typo meant to be? "Moody and ??pmsing the moon is seen different each night" |

"Dust settles to the ground- grey sketched clouds breathe for a moment" ...love this line, but, I too, am wondering about the meaning of 'pmsing' |

I actually meant PMSing , you know how like girls sometimes do that. I don't know maybe its not tasteful but since the moon was a metaphor for how I felt at the time I thought it fit. Glad you liked it! |
