Men lose everything when their verbal slap takes the fight out of their daughter's eyes siphoning her will to live-suffocating in words They don't win when their wife falls to the floor and doesn't get up refusing to anger them more for fear her babies get hurt giving her scars that even her children will carry and learn from Good girls go bad and the men who made them that way don't win hurting themselves, stealing innocence and childhood in the night giving them nightmares to corrode their sleep and living nightmares too But one day those girls, those women , those children will walk Walk away from the men that hurt them- walk tall head held high out the door way and into a world that will help them begin to heal When t hey find their strength and the bad girls become good again The men will sit at the kitchen table head in hands and feel every blow in the silence Or maybe they won't ever be sorry but without someone else to hurt they won't be able to escape the pain that was there all along- broken by themselves Those men will lose everything at the moment the women and girls and children get everything they always deserved and move forward into their own futures |

Dear Rhia, I appreciate your compassionate thoughts and feelings in defense of women and children who have been trampled over and hurt to their core. It's not, in my opinion, a question of losing everything, but of gaining in wisdom and love. This process has been started, it will take time. But hopefully we are moving towards peaceful, loving co-existence, in the awareness that we all come from the same Source with equal birthrights of love and respect, for who we are. Thank you for this thought provoking write. Love, Margherita |

Rhia, I wish I had read this when I was about thirteen! I am glad to read it now. Very powerful writing - and very true words. Let's pop this back to the top so others can read and think too. Alison |

Touching and important write, Rhia. Yes, Karma has it's own way of taking care of things. Ida |
