Time has left and I not dead can’t catch a passing cloud and fly unhindered backwards to what was left behind. And it’s not as if the clouds know the way back to desire for they hang immobile overhead and blanket every living thing with a stubborn “now”. So in the way a woman does I search here on the ground for a vehicle with an engine, wheels, to fully turn me round from where I’m standing now. But lucky ladies all are we who know to flutter eyelids and tempt the now with just rewards for all the goodness shown for in that manner backward looks become as tools unused. Hello “Now”! Hello "Now", sounds good to my ears, dear Helen! Well, it would be fun to travel in some sort of time machine backwards and forwards too, why not, just for a quick peek every now and then. They say it's all packed in the Now though, so we should be able to visit past and future without moving at all. Our brain is a wondrous tool that allows us to explore all there is ... Love, dear Poetess. Margherita |

Whether we travel to the past, are in the present, or travel to the future ~ when we are there or here, we are experiencing "Now". ~ at least I think (which all your philosophical poems make me do!) we are! Love to you in the past, present, and future! Linda |
