Bones had been taught from an early age, to keep his trap shut about most everything. He knew that the most dishonorable being on God’s green earth was the common rat. Then, of course, he thought to himself: "Who would want to hear?" That’s just the way he was. He left his world an honorable boy. Bobby [This message has been edited by Robert E. Yes, "who would want to hear?", that was the consequence of what he had been "instructed" to believe and he lost confidence ... Education in early years is of the greatest importance we know now. I am glad to hear Bones eventually succeeded in growing into a honorable boy, even if he did not speak much. Bones' story is so sad really, but you show him your friendship and appreciation with your fine tribute. Love, Margherita |

BTW Dear Margherita, That's a family tradition that was passed down to me, and I've passed it down to my children: "Never, ever, be a rat." The Army like me for that. It almost makes me want to vote for John McCain. Almost, but not quite. Love Bobby |

With some of the terrible things that had happened to this poor boy, you think that he would have spoken out. Hopefully, times have changed and now when young children are abused they will be encouraged to speak out. Hopefully. |
