Who Hurt Bones |

No one knows who hurt Bones, or why. He was just a skinny street kid. Yes he did some immoral things to live— but don’t we all. Yes, admit it, you do. No one is perfect. That was no reason to take a child’s life or even to hurt a child— but someone did. Who ever did will have a horrible death, and after life. Christ left no doubt about that. Yes, Bones was one of Christ’s own. Christ takes names. Bobby |

I agree with everything you and Prasad said. "Christ takes names". That is good. It is also good that he takes souls like Bones into his arms and his heavenly kingdom. - Owl |

Poor Bones! To harm a child is no doubt the worst action that can be perpetrated. Jesus brings comfort to the victims. He will also show the perpetrator what pain he has caused and open his eyes, so that he can repent and awaken to love. Hatred and damnation are not His means. Those are worldly concepts, that are not part of His merciful heart. He does not want to lose any of his sheep. Thank you for the opportunity to be aware of Christ's immeasurable Love, in this moment. Love, Margherita |

Modifying my response after reading Margherita's. Yes, you are right, Margherita. I forgot His invitations to mercy, for a moment - how could I! - Owl [This message has been edited by OwlSA (07-20-2008 05:08 AM).] |

Thanks dear Margherita, It all depends on what your interpretation of Matthew 18:6 is. You remember, the one with the millstone. Bobby |

Yes Bobby we have all done some things that we are not proud of but I do feel a great sympathy for Bones. May he rest in peace. Lindsay |

Thanks LindsayP, Yes, bones had a short sad life. That happens quite often, for one reason or another. Weather he will rest in piece is another question. He may come back to give us messages. Bobby |

I talked to a friend yesterday about children and my experience as one. We talked about the conflict so many children face - loving their parents, fearing their parents and hating their parents all at the same time. I hope Bones is smiling right now and knows that his life is remembered and his story is powerful. Thank you, Robert Jordan, for telling it. Alison |

Thanks dear Alison, As far as I know, the Bones that the story is modeled on is still alive. However, many like him never made it. Love Bobby |
