in a time when days mean more than counting and counts are ne'er quite done when meanings leap like words unspoken from canvasses unwritten in thoughts untouched by mortal tongues unsung we find ourselves unmeasured and leave our work behind to sing un-rehearsed a forlorn refrain to give to those who care far less than thanks-giving thoughts demand and trade to those who are untracked a measure of the main as season-lilts waft further down the festive days proclaimed the smells, the sights, the sounds abound like grains of sand along a winsome shore awaiting chosen choruses simply to be found in a day when times mean more than earthly measures 'tis a day that's set aside, to hold our perfect treasures |
