Impressionable Shores Perhaps, it is the savage motion of her waters deep Articulating all of life, relentless in her gain and reach A power unmatched, witness to creation Irreverent; controlled, then uncontrollable Imbuing sensation Silent lullaby or total crushing annihilation Cupped green or blue, duality in personification Yet far from view, edict of the sun, she stirs Harboring in tranquility, secrets none can know defers Transporting berg and boulder, rocking ship and shoulder Cooling the magma brow of raw earth, Lifting up islands from uneven girth Awaken then, Theologian, to walk her moors An endless journey the heart implores For every secret time explores To rise and set her moonlit shores Then touch the sands, where once she lay Each wetted hour the fates obey Copyright Kkh 11/22/08 [This message has been edited by ThisDiamond (11-22-2008 10:32 PM).] |

You know I do love your poetry when it has a rhythmic beat to it...always a pleassure to read and savor, like swirling a bit of wine before the meal is served. |
