One FOR That ROAD The road made of billions of words and a quarter of his memoir meanders through the radiance and foliage of shadows, half hour to cover it in whole. “Quick, pop! They are on us!” A hullabaloo is coming behind, tailing us. My hands are stiffening their clasp on the grave fishing rod. “Here we go!” Pop screams and I have a free and roaring laugh. Ah, Sunday, Sunday! A fishing trip to our regular venture over the boundary of law. The frustrated board proclaims in vain, the prohibition of fishing there. “Here we go, pop. Quick!” © 2008 - All Rights Reserved Kushal Poddar clever talks delay friendship! |

What an extraordinary complicity between father and son in this delightful poem, dear Ku! I could hear the laughter and the Sunday joy in this. So good to read you, Poet! Love and hugs. Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; |

Absolutely delightful! If I were still an English teacher, I would ask permission to use this poem to illustrate firstly original expression and then many, many other things. - Owl |
