Ephemeral Blue November barely changed clothes before night fell Dark braids of inequity, shivered against a flat black sky The trees were dipped in watercolors, then washed out Left bareback on the wind, Some shadowed warriors in lathered gait This is how the seasons turn us sometimes Reliant on the warm smiles of yesterday to light the future Then love is the tinder for a fortunate fire Blazing up, to light the corners of the room, warm and reticent And you, as regal as Orion, fill my eyes Where I trace your signature in the starlight Shift upon the soft sighs of comfortable dreams Waiting to shine beyond the cold of winter’s stare Always, the closest to heaven’s heart And mine, there you shine concealing the vastness Of transitory times away Copyright Kkh 11/17/08 |

ThisDiamond - this has to be one of your best writings. I read it and I'll be back to read it again. A great one for sure... BC |

Words woven to the page in beauty. Reading you is like a "master's class" in poetry. Love, Eric |
