If my life was a museum
you would find there
peaceful paintings from Edward Hopper
and special Doves from Picasso,
you would find too
some kisses with their lipstick
and a mysterious hat from my father’s shop,
You would find two or three looks
from girls i can’t forget
And an old Buick from the sixties,
You would find
pompous photos from New York
and from my parent’s house,
I would hang up too the kindness
of my sisters
and the inspiration of my brothers,
I would show Gone with the Wind,
But above all if my life was a museum
You would find love
and the entrance would be free.

Yann, it sounds to me as though you would be a millionnaire if the entrance wasn't free!

Yo Yann,

I like anything that's free.

This is an excellent poem, and I like it loads.

I love the ending but this touched me

"I would hang up too the kindness
of my sisters
and the inspiration of my brothers"
