Almost feral In consciousness And comprehension Dawn rarely came On any consistency And dusk all too often Brought a darkness Of its own I’m afraid Distance and time Have not been Particularly kind To history So somehow now It doesn’t seem All that much A mystery The best picture I ever took of her Was in a barn . |
