The wind has been cleaning
through the night
like we're getting ready
for a party.
Who shall I invite?
No need to rake
the yard is clean,
the driveway swept
And to think it all happened
while I slept.
Too bad it couldn't clean
the place next door
but even the wind
isn't up to that chore...
I'm not ready for a tornado.

Oh I have a fence and a wall of bougainvillea
about ten feet high between me and "the jungle" Can't even see it.

Oh, Ida, I got a real chuckle out of that!
~ a tornado! lol

I know what you mean when nature works with you and does the work for you! I feel like that when it rains overnight and I don't have to water the lawn!

Love to you, my Ida belle.

Ida - isn't it just grand to have it all cleaned during the night while sleeping...

Delightful, Ida.  In my neck of the woods I must be the neighbour because my garden's a mess when I wake up - after the wind.  Hmm?  I'm pretty much a mess too when I wake up so perhaps like attracts like, yes?

Yo dear Ida,

That is one thing great about the hood.  No trees, no leaves, no trouble.

I'm so pleased that the wind works to your advantage, at least sometimes Ida dear, it

usually works in reverse for me. Have a great day my friend.  Love

Ida,

I laughed at that last line .. and I want to come to the party.  I can even bring a wind bag or two.

Love,

Thanks, Alison but they wouldn't get a word in edgewise at my house. You have to fight for the floor when the family gets together.
A boisterous bunch they are. Some how I have a feeling you would fit right in.

This is cute and lovely, dear Ida! So the lawn now smiles with the wind's smile.

Love,
Margherita
