serendipitous shadows dance on the wall
fleeting flickering fantasies

mine is small,
seemingly insignificant

the acorn
doesn't concern itself

Yo Kacy,

This is great.  Any shadow that doesn't bother the acorns is okay with me.

Ah, but the acorn grows into a beautiful spreading tree!

A lot of food for thought within that tiny seed.  Lovely, Kacy.

You are a trooper! It's wonderful to see you writing. And so philosophical that you're over my head. But I always liked that about you.

We are indeed ... 'acorns' of this grand-scintillating Universe ...

May those shadows always dance!

interesting contemplative 'penning'!

That's the best line I've read in forever...

What is more beautiful than the tree the acorn grows into, Kacy? Serenity and grace
are words that come to mind.

Such a wonderful write, Kacy.  It was only last night that I came across a very old story of mine about an acorn so I'll post it as it seems that we both had acorns on our minds.

So good to see you posting.  My very best to you.

Duncan! What a wonderful treat to have you visit. Thanks for that comment.
Ida, Helen, and Bruce...you are so good to me!
I would not feel so hopeful if I had to face this thing alone.

Your shadow, like the acorn, is contemplating greater things to come.  Nicely phrased, and it gave me something to chew on.  I like that sometimes.

does an 'acorn' floating in a 'Deep-Time' universe without 'walls' cast a shadow?!

Nice thing about flickering fantasies is that means there is a breeze of promise tickling the flame.  Nicely penned and worth much contemplation.
