Come now, rest
your weary heart
upon my breast
and I will hold you
until you feel
that you are strong
with enough courage
to move on.

Together we will wipe
your tears away;
should you need me
come another day

I will be here for you
so that you may find
a moment of peace
for your troubled mind.

Time will heal
your broken wings
someday, again soon
you're soul will sing.

Come now, rest
while I hold you
in friendships stay
when tomorrow comes

I shall watch
as you soar away.
