Soft the breeze that blew the leaves across my lawn,
Leaves fallen down and turned to dull brown covering the green
Of what my belief is still green beneath the autumn’s cover
So with that I take last years rusty rake to find my yard.
Chilly are the winds that move the clouds in during my task
Till bags contain and all that remain are still on trees
Waiting to let go just before the first snow of winter comes.

Almost a mystical experience, when the leaves are falling.  I can appreciate the solitude of raking, uncovering what was, and appreciating what is.
Nicely done.
