Tis the season of family gatherings smells of baked goods all around Laughter throughout every child And drizzles of snow on the ground The holiday season has come again though faster than we had prepared With artificial smiles we hide the pain as memories of you are shared The family photo is being taken though this one is not complete The greatest child we've ever known has left an empty seat The facade becomes more difficult, each passing day more blue It's just too soon to enjoy this time... Still numb from the loss of you You may not be here to open a gift or help us light the tree, But in our hearts is a permanent place We know you'll always be We were blessed for the times we had but we still wish you were here We send our love and hope you have A Merry Christmas in heaven this year!!!! ah yes, how does one really move forward after such a loss? I still find it difficult, at best, to smile with memories when it hurts so bad to know I can no longer reach out to them on any level... I enjoyed your sentiments very much. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |

I too am sorry for your loss, at least it seems you have sufferred one. Hope you have found ways to cope, though I know that takes lots of time!! Bless you through the holidays, which we find most difficult. Thanks you for your kindness!! |
