Autumn Falls

As I sit on my window sill ~ looking out,
I feel the cool autumn breeze
that blows through the naked trees.

The rushing sound of water,
as it crashes against the river rocks,
echoes throughout my home

The last autumn leaves slowly descend
to the dampened earth below,
~ leaving the trees fruitless and bare.

The transformation of clouds
into a deep and dismal grey,
is a sign of changing seasons.

~ Winter approaches...

Brother, hand me a cup of hot chocolate and let me curl up with that cat will you? What a splendiferous view and poem. Loved this entire setting.

~Of course you may, enjoy watching as fall takes it's last breath away with beauty as winter slowly creeps in with it's unbelievable scenery and glowing crystal snow!
