The clouds are lifting
as I watch the weightless wisps
shape my thoughts
into the quiet of your mind.

I seam them into quilts
of remembrances,
tieing the mysts
into illusions of tomorrow's when...

Seduced by the calmness
of a life translated in understanding,
able to let go of the swords
of another time.

M

I was going to highlight and comment on the first stanza, then I read the second (and it was so good), and then the ending...would have had to highlight it all to do it justice...fabulous craftsmanship

Just trying to ease into the winter Chanson, the faire is over and I am able to "just be" at home.  Trying to re-organize my life, finally .

So nice to see you here...don't be a stranger!

Thank you, Bobby, Steven and Bill ( a duet for sure).
Always a pleasure to read the responses.

a most interesting 'write'!

I am especially fond of the image of clouds and thoughts

"seam(ed)...into quilts
of remembrances"

Thanks again to all who responded. I am finally beginning to get past all the "past" that has held me down...and am accepting that which shall be (if you can understand that) thus  giving me some peace for a change.

I love this also, it just seems to drift so seamlessly together and the result is nothing but memorable.
