THE BEGINNING AND THE END 18 July 2008 . . . in the explosion of light they knew but they knew though they knew and they turned away and the darkness descended and they cried while they knew . . . - Owl |

Owl, This is well written. However, I'm afraid I don't understand it. However, that's okay, I don't understand a lot of things. Bobby |

I didn't, he didn't, we didn't understand it either, really. Thanks for understanding though you don't understand. - Owl |

This could have so many meanings, Owl. I wouldn't even presume to guess but I always enjoy your writing and I hope everything is okay. Love, Ida |

Being thoroughly subjective in my interpretation I am completely convinced that I fully understand this piece in it's entirety... partially. ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· |

It hurts, dear Diana. But only you know, or thought you knew ... In the full explosion of light, there can be fright and withdrawal ... but the light invites us really to be aware of its gift and to embrace it. When we analyze and dissect too much, we lose the possibility to see the WHOLE in all its glory. I am probably thinking too much too!! Love and hugs. Margherita |

Margherita, you're a sweetie. Yes, it does hurt. Yes, the light did its inviting, all right. It is probably possible to think too much (although I have always been a thinker and have always been of the opinion that if too much thought damages something, then it wasn't worth it in the first place), but in this case, it was too little thought that did double damage. That love and those hugs did wonders! - Owl |

This piece has a 'Garden of Eden' knowledge at its base which can be applied to events that occur in our lives in the now. I love poems that make me think, make me explore the metaphysical in our existence. A very interesting and challenging poem! |

Thanks. Actually, the explosion of light is referring to a single sunrise. - Owl |

When the light disappears.... that's when we grasp the true value of a solitary moment, missing each ray of light we overlooked in our rush to reach some unknown destination. [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (07-19-2008 10:33 PM).] |
