ashes, with the snow fall so lightly forming graves of white and grey stars shattering silver glass reflects only for a falling second, broken hearts burning flower petals flutter the only color in a world of black and white torn paper, carried away by iron-heartless winds their words never spoken waves crashing on black sand a pearl on the shore now here, now gone a breath of vanilla caught by time only an unmade memory a drop of blood on red velvet was it really ever there fingers of ice clutching a last breath breather, unremembered earth back to earth our bodies the only touch we ever leave forever on the world |
