I’m about to tell a ghastly tale,
With children’s blood and imp ale,

Gruesome creatures are under your beds,
Evil Leprechauns hide in your heads,

Satan laughs on his day of fun,
The sun disappeared and night begun,

In the shadows, Goblins lurk,
They appear from one devilish smirk,

A mad man hitches a ride,
The driver has no place to hide,

Ghouls carry away worms anew,
Witches dance and create their brew,

Villagers hunt with many torches,
Old men arm themselves on porches,

One unique monster believes in joy,
His ambitions are not evil, but coy,

The villagers stereotype his unknown evil,
They seek their own satanic upheaval,

This monster searches for unconditional love,
He tries to reach out for a beautiful dove,

In the darkness of Satan’s night,
One monster’s heart is right,

As he reached for that dove,
A villager shot him from above,

He fell to the ground as bats flew,
He wasn’t the monster; it was you

"The villagers stereotype his unknown evil,
They seek their own satanic upheaval,"

Very cool phrases here.  A frightfully good read.
